Wood-aluminium solutions
The best of two materials in a premium system
Aluminium covered wooden windows combine the best properties of wood and aluminium in a unique, premium system. Wood-aluminium windows lend timeless beauty, sophistication and a close-to-nature feeling to our home, while the combination of the two materials offers a weather-resistant, maintenance-free and outstanding technical solution with an outstanding heat transfer index. An ideal choice for apartments, passive houses and modern architectural projects.
Wood offers unparalleled beauty, but like all materials from natural origin, it is in continuos change and requires maintenance. The external aluminium covering provides a solution for this, as aluminium naturally resists corrosion even without covering it with other materials, so its maintenance is cost and time effective.
Why are aluminum-clad wood windows good?
Wood-aluminium doors and windows can be customized. This is ensured by a wide range of colours available for the wood and aluminium cladding parts. The aluminium coverings can be chosen in almost any colour of the RAL colour scale, and special surface treatment solutions can also be imitated with them, such as the acid marten effect. For all these reasons, they can be perfectly adapted to individual aesthetic, energy and safety needs.
We use premium Aluron aluminium claddings and ROTO hardware for our wood-aluminium doors and windows. Wooden surfaces are treated with multi-layer, environmentally conscious painting or oiling.
